to the Lee Canyon Winter Sports Club. We bring people of all ages together who share a common interest, to bond and create friendships and memories that last a lifetime. We do it for the skiing. We do it for the fun. We do it for the kids. Some of the LCWS founders have been friends for over 40 years. So we built LCWS to pass it on to the next generation.
Ski Development — See for yourself.
Kids learn to snowplow. Then they learn to make parallel turns. Then what? Ski Development! Kids learn advance ski techniques through a combination of drills and practice races in a group setting. If your kid wants to be the next Mikaela Schiffrin or Marcel Hirscher, or just ski at the next level, Lee Canyon is only 30 miles away.
Racing — Putting it all together.
NASTAR is the premier amateur ski racing league in the US. LCWS sponsors NASTAR races every Sunday at Lee Canyon, conditions permitting. All the drills and practice come together in runs timed to the hundredth of a second. Times are then handicapped by age, and medals given by a scoring system. And all visible from the new Lodge! All ages and abilities, even snowboarders welcome.
